Bathing Water Analysis

Bathing water analysis is a crucial criterion for Blue Flag, it is an imperative. Analyzes are made by the local directorates of Ministry of Health of the Ministry, under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Bathing water samples are collected by local health centers and analyzes are made in public health laboratories in provinces. Ministry of Health contributes to this process by providing equipment and personnel. Sample collection points are determined by the Provincial Health Directorates and the Provincial Blue Flag Commission in line with the incoming demands, some points can be canceled of more can be added if necessary.

The results of bathing water analysis are announced on the web pages of the Provincial Directorates of the Ministry of Health. Other results can be obtained from Provincial Public Health Directorates.

It is a necessity to announce the results of the current bathing water analysis on the Blue Flag beaches. Bathing water analyzes should be obtained from the places mentioned above and posted on the Blue Flag board.

In addition to announcing the analysis of bathing water, the follow-up on the appropriateness of the analysis results is also important for the continuity of the blue flag. During the season, please check the analysis results carefully and let them know if you find any inappropriate results.
