Inkum beach, along with Amasra, is one of the old tourist destinations of our country close to Bartin city centre. The beach, which is 17 km away from Bartin city centre, can be accessed in around 15-20 minutes by personal vehicle or by taking the public transport departing from the Inkum bus stop located in the centre of the city. Also, for those who want to travel by personal vehicle, it is quite easy to access this area by following the signs available all the way from Bartin city centre to Inkum beach. Inkum is among the most famous and beautiful beaches of the Black Sea region with its long beach. As well as being considerably wide, Inkum beach has the length of 3 km. While the Black Sea surrounds the north of this beach, the Inkum Mountain covered with green forests surrounds it to the south. The region gets most crowded during June, July and August, which are the summer season. A holiday resort, Inkum beach, has many quality accommodation, food and entertainment facilities able to meet tourist needs. The sea of this long beach is undoubtedly clean and clear. For this reason, sometimes it is possible to encounter sea creatures such as small fish while swimming in the sea.
