 6. National Blue Flag Seminar for local Blue Flag Responsibles was held in Çeşme-İzmir. Around 100 people participated the programme and many topics were presented during 1.5 day educational seminar.

 

 

 6. National Blue Flag Seminar for local Blue Flag Responsibles was held in Çeşme-İzmir. Around 100 people participated the programme and many topics were presented during 1.5 day educational seminar. 

The topics and presentations were;

- General information about Blue Flag and international proceedings, new criteria and developments

- Biodiversity, invasive alien species and marine protected areas (Ministry of Environment)

- Evaluation of last season (control visits, complaints etc)

- Information on how to organize efficient environmental education activities and dissemination of information

- Templates prepared by TURCEV for reporting environmental education activity files.

- Microbial contamination of beach sand (Prof.Dr. Delya Sponza)

- Public Awareness Project on beach sand pollution (Burhaniye Municipality)

- How to prepare for control visits and how to coordinate hotel and public beaches by a municipality (Didim Municipality)

- Best environmental activities of last year by Konyaalti Municipality

- Best template for reporting environmental education (how to take best photo and how to communicate with media) activities by Turgutreis Municipality

- Evaluation Criteria of Best Environmental Education Activities Jury (Assoc.Prof.Gul Gunes-Jury Member)

- Environmental Education workshop (how to make a plan considering all the issues)

- Life saving on the beaches (presentation by TURCEV)

- Lifesaving through Turkish beaches (presentation by ILS Turkey)
